Jinks, Edna Pauline , age 97, of Fairfield Highlands, AL, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009. Mrs. Jinks was the oldest member of Fairfield Highland Baptist Church. She was past president and an active member of the WMU and a member of the Midfield Leisure Club. Funeral Services will be held at Fairfield Highland Baptist Church Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Bro. Harry Sims officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2009 from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston R. Jinks; sons, Don and Doug Jinks; daughter, Judy Nelson and son-in-law, Jim Nelson. She is survived by her son, Jerry Jinks of Midfield; daughter-in-law, Gene Jinks; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; brother, John Milton Walker of Bessemer and brother-in-law, Joe Jinks (Frances) of McCalla.
