age 79, of Birmingham, AL, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2010. She graduated from Fairfield High School and Birmingham Southern College in 1953. She retired from Birmingham Southern College after 46 years of service. She was a longtime member of Fairfield Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse N. and Virdia M. Lovett; her brother, Jesse N. Lovett, Jr.; and her husband, Bill Brown. She is survived by her special friends, Bill DeVan, Russell and Donna Wilson; five cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Dr. Daven Watkins officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.
