Edwin Russell Daniel (Pawpaw), 89, passed away the 14 th of March 2022 at home peacefully, surrounded  by family. Mr. Daniel was born: 3/27/1932 in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Edwin was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, Company H, 502 nd Airborne Infantry Regiment. He enlisted on October 19, 1949; he was honorably discharged on December 19, 1951. He was a Master Mason at  Fairfield Lodge #749. He was a member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry where he achieved the 32 nd degree.

He was preceded in Death By: Father: Walter Bell Daniel, Mother: Ezkiel Alma (Robinette) Daniel, Sister:  Jeanette Daniel

Survived by: Brother: David Ellon Daniel, Grand-daughter's: Tracey Hogeland & Christie Thomas, (7) Great grandchildren, (4) Great-great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held on Friday, March 18 th at 1:30 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 5317 Bessemer Super Hwy, Midfield, AL 35228 .
