Elizabeth "Elaine" Clark Northcutt of Birmingham, celebrated her 89 ^th birthday in the arms of Jesus on September 9, 2019. She was born on September 9, 1930 in Fairfield, AL to Eddie E. and Elizabeth Clark. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Thomas Northcutt, and brother, Eddie E. Clark, Jr. She was a graduate of Fairfield High School. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Terri (Mike) Sowell, her son, Tom (Dolly) Northcutt, and a special grandmother to her four grandchildren, Brad (Randi) Northcutt, Jessica Hill, Brittany Price, Christen (Brian) Thach, and seven great grandchildren: Kavan, Teigan, Sevynn, Corynn, Tripp, Presley, & Rhett). She was a member of Fairfield Highlands Baptist Church for many years, and continued her discipleship at Church of the Highlands which met at her residence, River Highlands. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. She was the "neighborhood mom" who loved to entertain children with playing cards, games, and drawer full of snacks. She was a routine winner at almost every costume contest held at her dialysis center over the last 9 years. She was known for her quick wit and her sweet giggle.

Visitation will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Valhalla Funeral Home, with service following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alabama Kidney Foundation.
