Elizabeth Jane Powell Skinner, age 62, of Sylvan Springs died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in Birmingham.

Jane grew up in Ishkooda and never forgot her life long friends from Jones Valley Elementary School. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lee Skinner and parents Leonard Powell and Polly White Powell.

Jane is survived by several cousins. She had a great love for her dog Fancy and her cat Callie. She will be truly missed.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Valhalla Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the graveside service at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel.
