Ms. Ricks was a native of Ashville and a resident of Helena. She was a member of the Faith Sunday School Class and Bluff Park Baptist Church. She was a former member of Vinesville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ricks, Sr., parents, Leon and Audrey McKinney and sister Eleanor Wyatt.

She is survived by three daughters, Patty Mayo (Gene), Sue Junkins, and Jan Stevens (Gary); one son, Bill Ricks, Jr., Grandchildren, Doug Mayo (Annette), David Mayo, Patrick Ricks, (Angela), Adam Ricks, Matt Ricks, Jeff Stevens (Lisa), Jennifer Stevens (Adam), Nicole Peterson (Eric), and Miriam Beasley; six great grandchildren, Jonathan, Jonathan Michael, Catherine, Joshua, Sam, and Miller.

Services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Barber officiating with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
