Dr. Elliott S. Linsky, of Vestavia Hills, AL, was called to be with the Lord on October 19, 2013. Dr. Linsky was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 7, 1949. He is a graduate of Ursinus College, ''70, and New York Medical College, ''74. He spent the majority of his career at Lloyd Noland Hospital in Fairfield, AL. He is survived by his five children, Mrs. Kellee Morgan (Kenny) of Rogersville, AL, Mrs. Kristin McClain (Bill) of Hoover, AL, Dr. Paul Linsky (Jamie) of Louisville, KY, Ms. Dana Linsky of Birmingham, AL, and Mrs. Lauren Schroeder (Johnathan) of Orlando, FL, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.He is also survived by his sister, Diane Patterson (Mark) of Yardley, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Selma Linsky of Philadelphia, PA and his loving aunt, Mollie Rosenfeld of Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Linsky was a man who loved his family and his patients. He will be most remembered for being there for people when they needed him most.
Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home, 5317 Bessemer Super Highway, Midfield, AL 35228 on Tuesday, October 22. Visitation will begin at 11 with a service at 1 with a graveside service to follow.
