Emily Louise Pierce, age 80 of Midfield, AL went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 26 ^th surrounded by her family.

Emily was a loving wife of 46 years to the late Robert L. Pierce, Sr.; she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed crafting, spending time with her family and friends, and traveling. Taking cruises and listening to Elvis Presley were two of her favorite pastimes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Carobell Spangler; one brother, Ernest Spangler; one daughter, Melinda Galla and a special friend, Buck Moore.

She is survived by her two children, Pamela Fowler and Robert L. Pierce, Jr. (Benjamin Boyer); six children, Joseph (Morgan) Fowler, Samantha (Jason) Garrett, Shannon (Joseph) Turner, Zachary Pierce, Nicholas (Mary) Galla and Michelle Galla; many great grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Faucher and Edith Sexton; one sister in law, Janet (Charles) Sanders and many other relatives and friends.
