Eugene "Gene" Milstead, age 87, of McCalla, AL went to his heavenly home on March 3, 2021. He retired from Cowin Equipment Company after 42 years where he was General Parts Manager. He was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of McCalla.

He was proceeded in death by his loving wife of 51 year, Frances Milstead; his son, Delane Isbell; daughter, Brenda Mardant and  his parents, John H. Milstead and Daisy B. Milstead.

He is survived by his children: Darlene Price, Mike (Kathy) Milstead, Betty (Gary) Hutcheson, John (Susan) Milstead and Danny (Sherry) Johnson. He was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
