Mrs. Evelyn M. Nicholson Hoops, 93 of Midfield, Alabama entered into Rest, Sunday March 13, 2016 at Doctors Hospital Augusta, Ga. She was born in Remlap, Alabama to the late Hugh & Josephine Nicholson. She was a member of Fairfield Highlands Baptist Church, Midfield, Ala, and retired from J.C.Penny Co. She loved to travel with her husband and loved her children and extended family very much.
She is preceded in death by her late husband Charles Roy Hoops of Midfield, Alabama and daughter Paulette Hoops Martin of Concord, Alabama.

Survivors are two sons Leslie Roy Hoops, Augusta, Georgia and Dwight Hoops, Odenville, Alabama, seven grandchildren Leslie C Hoops, John Guy Hoops, Kellie N. Hoops Clark, Christy Files & Doug Martin Candice Hoops & Brandon Hoops. She also had eleven great grand children.

Pallbearers will be Leslie C Hoops, John Guy Hoops, Cody B. Hoops, Parker D Hoops, Doug Martin, and Brandon Hoops.

Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home, Midfield, Alabama, Friday March 18th, 2016. Family will receive friends at 10:00 am with services following at 11:00 am. Internment will immediately follow at Valhalla Cemetery, Midfield, Alabama.
