Florrie Jean Dozier, age 88, of Bessemer passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 in Bessemer. She was a native and life long resident of Jefferson County (Bessemer), a homemaker and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Dozier and a brother, Charles Massey.

Mrs. Dozier is survived by three daughters, Linda Askew (Joe), Margaret Morris (Sam), and Janet Dozier; a son, Larry Dozier (Linda); six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pat Buckner officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at Valhalla Chapel.
