Foy Eugene "Gene" Ferguson, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed on to his heavenly reward Saturday October 3, 2020.He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church of Hueytown and the former First Baptist Church of Midfield. He was retired from AT&T with 33 years of service and a long time volunteer worker at the Hueytown Public Library. Mr. Ferguson was preceded in death by his wife Geneva Eloise Ferguson, his parents, Samuel Ferguson and Retter Clem Ferguson, sister Margurett Fleming;grandson, Jonathan Ferguson.He is survived by his children, Jerry (Glynell) Ferguson, Terry (Jill) Ferguson, Becky (Ron) Morgan, Greg(Amy) Ferguson, Lisa(Joe)McNulty;grandchildren Jacob, Anna, Benjamin Ferguson, Kristin Ferguson,Michael (Amanda) Redman, Scott Redman, Emily, Ryan Ferguson, and Joe (Mendy) McNulty; great grandchildren; Marley Ferguson, Joseph, Jack, Andrew, Hudson McNulty. The family will receive friends Thursday morning October 8, 2020 beginning at 10 at the funeral home with the Chapel Services to be held at 11. Private family Interment will follow in Valhalla Cemetery. Rev. Joe McNulty will be officiating.
