Armstrong, Frances Victoria (Fannie) Devenyns, left this world for a heavenly home Monday, February 2, 2009. She was a member of Ensley Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady S. Armstrong and brothers, Tom, John and Douglas Devenyns. She is survived by one sister, Ola Belle Watson; cousin, James Franklin Goggins; special cousin and friend, Annie Laurie Houts. She was loved and will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2009, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home. Officiating minister is James A. Connell. A graveside service will be held at Valhalla Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2009.
