Frances F. Hancock, age 95, of Orange Beach, AL and formerly of Midfield, AL went to be with the Lord on March29, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Hancock, and her parents Thomas Fikes and Ostella Goode Fikes. She is survived by her cousins Cindy Jackson and Nat Goode.

Frances was born in Fulton, Mississippi on April 29,1924. After her father's death, Frances and her mother relocated to Alabama to be near her mother's family. Frances met and married John Hancock and their marriage lasted 43 years until his death in 1995.

Frances, at 72 years old, retired from Motion Industries in Birmingham, AL after more than 50 years employment.

Frances was a member of Brookhaven Methodist church located in Powderly in the western part of Birmingham.

Frances' life will be celebrated with a graveside service at Valhalla Cemetery on June 18, 2020 at 1 PM with the Rev Ed Crews officiating.
