Dugger, Frank Taylor, 94, of Highland Park (formerly a long-time resident of Bessemer) died on October 3, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bula M. Dugger, his parents, Arthur Boyd and Josephine Dugger, brother, Robert S. Dugger, sister, Nell Dugger Halfacre, and son-in-law, Tom Cole.
He is survived by his daughter Mary Cole, granddaughters Tracey Cole Thagard George (Lee), Karen Cole Swann (Michael), great-grand children Drew Thagard, Kathryn Thagard and Devon Thagard, nephew Ronald Halfacre (Mary Helen), Spring, TX, great niece Elizabeth Halfacre Hussey (Steve) Spring TX, and cousin Carol Jean McAlister (Walter).
Mr. Dugger was a Past Master of the Masonic Lodge, a member of the Knights of the York Cross of Honour, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Zamora Temple Director Staff and the First Presbyterian Church, Bessemer, AL.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Valhalla Funeral Home with visitation at 10:00am followed by a service at 11:00am. Rev. Randolph Kesler officiating.
