Frank Dodson Glaze, 90, peacefully passed away in his sleep on June 30, 2019. Frank was the youngest of the five children born to his parents, Henry Forney Glaze and Clyde Smith Glaze. He was born in Fairfield, Alabama October 17, 1928 and graduated from Fairfield High School. Frank began a successful career with the Chevron Corporation after serving in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Living in Alabama and Kentucky during his career, Frank retired with his wife to Florida and returned to Alabama in the late 1990s.

As with his wife, highlights of Frank's very rich life were centered on relationships. First and foremost was his relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He invested his time and talents to serving in local churches wherever they lived. They were also board members for the world outreach ministry of Christ for the World Inc. located in Orlando, FL.

After his Savior, Frank loved his wife, Nada, best. They were great marriage role models to so many who knew them. Their years together were marked by the fact that their hearts were always together, even when circumstances might mean they were physically apart.

He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Clyde Glaze, his wife of 71 years, Nada Glaze, his brothers, C.J. (Dorothy) Glaze and Holly (Ethel) Glaze, and his sisters Audrey (Harvey) Kline and Evelyn Glaze Bedsole.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 10 am to 11 am in the chapel at Valhalla Funeral Home, 5317 Bessemer Super Highway, Midfield, AL 35228. Funeral Services will commence at 11 am with burial in Valhalla Cemetery.
