age 85, of Hueytown, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 22, 2007. He was a member of Hueytown Church of Christ. He was retired from Midfield Volkswagen and Midfield Auto Sales. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. with burial in Valhalla cemetery. Mr. Phil Robertson officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 10 until 11:30 a.m. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Howell; parents, Lewis and Minnie Howell; brothers, Hank and George and sisters Alta, Barbara, Mary and Ruth. He is survived by his son, Joe (Tanya); daughters, Frankie Dennis (Tommy), Judy Robertson (Butch), and Susan Boykin (George); five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
