Frederick "Big Rick" McCarroll of Bessemer, AL passed away Monday evening. Mr. McCarroll was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who never met a stranger and always had a joke.

Services for Frederick "Big Rick" McCarroll will be on Friday February 17, 2017 at Valhalla Funeral Home at 2:30pm. Family will receive visitors and friends for a visitation hour at 1:30pm prior to service. Internment will follow at Valhalla Cemetery
