passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010. He was born October 26, 1958 in Birmingham, Alabama to Margaret Williams Goodwyn and Judge Gardner Foster Goodwyn, Jr. He graduated from Indian Springs High School, Helena, Alabama; attended the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa; and graduated from the University of Alabama, Birmingham with a degree in Marketing. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Bessemer, Alabama. He resided in Gulf Shores, Alabama for 25 years, where he held a real estate license. He bought, sold and developed real estate and also owned and operated an excavation business. Recently, he was developing property on Lewis Smith Lake in Cullman County, Alabama. He was an avid outdoorsman, gentleman and friend to countless persons. He is survived by his parents; sister, Pricilla Goodwyn Anderson (Robert); brother, Tyler W. Goodwyn (Jeanie); nephew, Cooper Anderson. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Christian Church of Bessemer, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or the charity of your choice. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Friday, March 26, 2010.
