Gaynell W. Cotton
1925-2013

Gaynell W. Cotton, 88, passed away on December 13, 2013.
She was a resident of Pensacola, FL and formerly of Birmingham, AL. She was born in Birmingham, AL on March 28, 1925.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jack H. Cotton, Sr.

She is survived by sons, Dana B. Jackson (Ellen Jane) of Pensacola, FL, Joseph W. Jackson of Lawson, Missouri, Jack H. Cotton, Jr. (Renee) of Calera, AL. Ttwo sisters and a brother all of Birmingham. Gaynell has ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Gaynell grew up at Tarrant Rock Methodist Church, moved to Central Park Methodist in 1966, and then to Pleasant Grove United Methodist in 2007. She served in United Methodist Women for many years. She worked for AT&T for 35 years and retired in 1985.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm on December 17, 2013 with services at 2:00pm at Valhalla Chapel with John Gates, retired minister from Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery.
