Gloria Jean Cummings was born May 20, 1942 to the late Margaret Cummings. She departed this life on
May 4, 2023.
Gloria was employed with Lloyd Noland Hospital and Montclair Hospital where she worked as a RN.
She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Margaret Cummings; her brother, Lee Stinson and
sister, Margaret Alice Knighton.
While Gloria is peacefully resting in the Master's arms, she leaves to cherish her precious memories: two
sons, David Cook (Monice) of Birmingham, AL and Christopher Cook of Detroit, MI; two godchildren,
Ronnie and Sandra Robinson; six grandchildren, Adrienne Williams, Michael Hardy, Janelle Major,
Brittney Cook, Kiersten Sullivan and Alexandria Allen; four great grandchildren, Kingston Williams, Daya
Hampton, Demetrius Hampton, Jr and Allyson Allen; best friend, Jerri Washington and host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, relatives and other friends.
