Noah, Gregory D., age 45, of Bessemer, AL, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2008. Greg was an avid outdoorsman and loved the mountains, hiking and camping. Greg was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, grandson and friend. He was camp coordinator for the Cub Scouts of Hueytown. Greg was a graduate of Herzing College with a degree in computer programming. Greg was Store Manager at Piggly Wiggly in Crestwood and Homewood for 23 years. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Rev. Lloyd Jones and Rev. Richard Mize officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rose Mary Noah; one son, Cole Noah; one daughter, Kyndal Noah; his parents, Gordan and Glenda Noah; his grandmother, Nell Glover and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Roger Williford, Mike Williford, Bobby Richards, Sammy Russo, Glenn Lee, Michael Thomas and Steve Gladden. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Colonial Bank Trust Fund for Cole and Kyndal.
