Grover Bradley "Brad" Wood, Jr., died May 25, 2021, at home with his wife and youngest son in Guntersville, Alabama.

Brad was born April 16, 1945, in Fairfield, Alabama, to Grover, Sr., and Annie Glenn Wood.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy Torbert Wood; three sons, James Wood and his wife Beth, Brian Wood, and Michael Wood; two daughters and their spouses, Michelle and Todd Truelove, and Christine and Charles Limbaugh; and granddaughter, Caitlin Limbaugh.

Brad was a graduate of Fairfield High School, Auburn University, and the University of North Florida. He was a member of the Arab Church of Christ.

Services will be Saturday, May 29, 2021, 11:00 AM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
