Harlin Ray Nalley, age 88, of McCalla, Alabama, passed away on December 21, 2025. He was born in Tuscaloosa County on March 18, 1937, to Horace and Lela Nalley.

He attended Brookwood High School. He joined the United States Army, and Retired from Western Steel.

Harlin was preceded in death by his father: Horace Felix Nalley; his mother: Lela Forister Nalley; his brothers: Garland Edward Nalley, Alton Eugene Nalley, and Daniel Earl Nalley; and his sister: Vada Mae Nalley-Williams, who he will meet again in Heaven.

Harlin is survived by his wife, Sara Glover Nalley, and his brother, Howard Clayton Nalley, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of family and friends, who knows Harlin will be waiting for them in the afterlife.

There will be a Graveside Service held at Hickman Cemetery at 11500 Hickman Chapel Road, McCalla, AL 35111, on December 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Pastor Pete Moran.

There will be Military Funeral Honors held at Hickman Cemetery on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., with the immediate family and friends.
