Harold W Ballard was born on September 28, 1936 and died on February 19, 2022. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Elbert Jason Ballard and Dorsie Bell Henry Ballard,  his wife of 53 years, Wanda Sue Wright Ballard, his son, James Elbert Ballard Sr, and his grandson, James Elbert Ballard Jr.

He is survived by his daughters, Monica Ballard Martin (Ken) and Linda Ballard Snider, daughter-in-law, Donna Ballard, grandsons, Jason Edward Snider and Michael Wayne Ballard, and great -grandson,  PFC Joseph Snider, and many cousins and friends.

He was born in Heflin, Alabama, served in the Navy from 1955-1959,  married in 1961, to the love of his life, Wanda Sue.  He was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Church of the Nazarene.  As a lover of music, he played the mandolin and was a member of Attic Strings Band.  He was also a long time member of the Old Time Music Association.

He leaves behind a Legacy of Faith, Love, and Forgiveness.
