Hazel S. Sprayberry, age 93 of Pelham, formerly of Adamsville, died Monday, July 28 in Bessemer Al.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hoover. She was also a long time member of Westwood Baptist Church of Forestdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, McCoy Sprayberry; a son, Larry Sprayberry; parents Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stidham; brother, Herman Stidham; sister, Avalene Adams.

She is survived by her grandson, Hunter Sprayberry; Daughter-in-law, Claudia Loggins; Sister, Inez (Bobby) Adcock of Blountsville; two Brothers, Sherman (Edith) Stidham of Remlap and Edward (Rose Ann) Stidham of Trussville; several nieces and nephews.

Service will be Friday, August 1, 2014 at 12 noon at Valhalla Funeral Home with Dr. Randy Adkinson officiating. Burial in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Valhalla Funeral Home.
