Jordan, Helen Marie Tachoir, age 83, of Bessemer, passed away on August 7, 2008. She was a member of Houston Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Edward Kent Jordan. She is survived by one son, Kenny (Donna) Jordan; two daughters, Lera (Allen) Elliott and Kim (Lee) Wheeler; six grandchildren and one great grandson; three sisters, Margaret Ingraham, Lillie Peoples and Delores Shoemaker. Graveside services will be on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2008 from 6 until 8 p.m.
