Thomas, Herbert A. "Pete", age 85, of Bessemer, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009. Mr. Thomas formerly lived in Montevallo and was retired from Harbison Walker Brick Yard in Bessemer. He is survived by; his wife of 68 years Margaret B. Thomas, 1 son Ray Thomas, 2 grand-daughters; Shelly Renee' Thomas, and Wendy Ray. He also leaves 3 great grandchildren; Taylor West, Jacob Doe, and Austin Kilpatrick, 1 brother Bobby Joe Thomas, and 2 nephews Wayne and James Allen Campbell. A private family graveside will be held Tuesday at Valhalla Cemetery in Midfield, Alabama. Valhalla Funeral Home is serving the Thomas Family.
