age 85, of Gardendale, passed away on May 10, 2007. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Trussville and a long time member of Central Park Baptist Church. He was retired from Alabama Power after 40 years of service and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on May 12, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. with burial in Valhalla cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2007 from 10:30 until 12:00. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mary Ellen Cope; three daughters, Donna Carol Parsons (Harry), Sandra Neena Craven (Daniel) and Lisa Gwyn Sneed (Joel); six grandchildren and one great grandchild; brother, Raymond Cope; two sisters, Laura Glover and Marilyn Landis.
