Mr. J. Donald Barnett "Doc" passed away July 1, 2017 at Grandview Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was a beloved father, grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Roberts Barnett; father, Phillip T. Barnett; mother, Juliett Barnett; and a brother Wayne Barnett.

He is survived by his daughter, Renee Bailes; grand-daughters; Candice Morris and Ashley Bailes; great grandchildren; Ryleigh Smith and Logan Morris.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home in Midfield with graveside following at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Cemetery.
