Jack B. Cleveland, Sr., age 87, passed away on December 25, 2021, to be with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jack was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A graduate of Hueytown High School, he served as a pilot in the United States Air force before working at and retiring from US Steel in Fairfield, Alabama. After retirement he started his company, Lubrication Services. After 25 successful years he retired again at the age of 75. He was a longtime member of Wilkes Baptist Church where he and Patricia Green Cleveland, the beloved mother of his two children, were married in 1958. He enjoyed playing basketball and softball for the Wilkes Baptist Church men's teams. His true athletic passion was golf. He was a member of the Woodward Golf and Country Club for close to 50 years. He was also a loyal and dedicated member of the Fairfield Elks Lodge and founding member of the Fairfield Moose Lodge, reaching the highest local offices of both organizations. At the time of his passing, he was a member of Dry Valley Baptist Church in Lincoln, Alabama and a resident of the Colonel Robert L. Howard Veterans Home in Pell City, Alabama.

Mr. Cleveland was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde C. Cleveland, Jr. and Daisy V. O'Conner, and his stepmother, Mary B. Cleveland.

He is survived by his son, Jack, Jr. (Sonya) and daughter, Jill Beth Larson (Kevin); four grandchildren, Brent Cleveland, Taylor Baum (Mark), Leah Collins (Drew), and Scott Ratliff; five great grandchildren, Molly, Luke, and Julietta Cleveland and Whit and Iris Baum; sisters Anne Findley (Buck), Becky Hopkins (Jimmy), Vickie Miller (Alan), Debbie Rohr (John), and many beloved nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
