On Sunday, January 15, 2023 we lost our sweet, precious sister/aunt/friend, Jackie Smith age 75 (affectionately know as Aunt Ock) of Hueytown, AL. She was a wonderful, loving sister, sister-in- law, friend, and aunt. She was a fun, creative, thoughtful, and loving person that was beautiful inside and out. She was a second Mom to her nieces and nephews. She never had children of her own but treated her nieces and nephews as her own. She loved kids and always knew how to show them a creative, educational, and fun time. We all loved her tremendously and have many wonderful happy memories that will last us a lifetime. We will miss her greatly! She was a graduate of UAB with a BA in Early Childhood Education. She was preceeded in death by Charles B Smith Sr and Doris J Smith. She is survived by her brothers Charlie Smith (Teresa), Bobby Smith (Debbie), nieces Brandi Morris (Richard), Nicole Sherwood

(Brian), Nephews Rob Smith, Brannon Smith, great nephews/nieces Chase Smith, Kyle Smith, Hunter Sherwood, Jay Morris, Lauryn Morris, Lillian Smith, Lainey Smith, Taylor Salter, Emma Sherwood, Marlee Salter, uncle and aunt Kay Smith and Sue Smith.
