James A. Giddens, passed away May 1st in Brandon Fl. At the age of 78.
He grew up in Bessemer Al. where he attended Bessemer High School.
He is preceded in death by a son Jimmy Giddens, grandson Andrew Giddens, great grand daughter Kaylin Leigh Giddens, his parents James and Irene Giddens and brother Johnny Giddens. Survivors include his daughter Linda Taylor (Gordon), son Mike Giddens, grandsons Freedom and Chris Giddens, grand daughter April Giddens, sisters Judy Hardy and Frances Bass, daughter in law Anne DeToy several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be on Monday, May 4, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 until 1 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home.
