Hadaway, James (Jimmy), age 71, of Bessemer, AL, passed away on May, 18, 2008. He was a member and deacon of North Highlands Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at North Highlands Baptist Church from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. with the service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Doug O'Brien, Rev. Bill Donaldson, Rev. Gwin Coffee and Rev. Steve Hedrick officiating. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty Hadaway; three sons, Keith (Jackie) Hadaway, Tim (Karen) Hadaway and Alan (Thersea) Hadaway; twelve grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; two brothers, Bobby Hadaway and Roy Hadaway; one sister, Debbie Mauldin and a number of nieces, nephews and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers the family request donation to the North Highlands Baptist Church Building Fund.
