Hulsey, Jr., James Paul , age 81, of Bessemer, AL, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009. Mr. Hulsey was born September 5, 1927, in Fairfield, AL. He was a member of Eastern Valley Baptist Church. He proudly served two tours of duty in the U.S. Navy and afterwards worked in the Birmingham area until his retirement in 1992. Mr. Hulsey was preceded in death by his parents, James Paul and Clara Langley Hulsey; his sisters, Naomi H. Mosley and Clara H. Watson; and his niece, Paula M. Lynch. He is survived by his sisters, Barbara H. Vines, Paddy H. Moore (Buddy), and Lois H. Wade (Wesley). Mr. Hulsey is also survived by six nephews and five nieces. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from 2:00 until 3:00 PM followed by a Graveside Service at 3:00 PM in Valhalla Cemetery. Bro. Richard Austin and Bro. Paul Davis officiating.
