age 69, of Hueytown, passed away on August 2, 2007. An avid Auburn fan, he was a 1961 Auburn University graduate and a 1956 graduate of Ensley High. He was retired employee of the Social Securiity Administration. He joins his wife of 45 years, Judith Jinks Nelson, who preceded him in death in April 2007, and his parents, James T. Nelson and Mary L. Nelson, formerly of Pratt City AL. He is survived by his son, Jay Nelson, daughters, Chris Wilson (Mike) and Jamie Nelson (Ben Oliver), grandson, Samuel Oliver, granddaughter, "Baby Girl" Oliver and Sugar, his Old English Sheepdog.
