James "Jim" Arnold Lambert, 79, resident of Hoover, Alabama went to be with his heavenly father on Thursday, August 17, 2017. He was a member of Shades Crest Baptist Church and served in the United States Marine Corps. Jim was a loving son, brother, husband, father, father-in-law, granddaddy and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Herman Lambert and Susie White Lambert. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jane Hall Lambert, daughter Lisa Lambert Byerly (Ben), son Steven James Lambert both of Hoover, Alabama and granddaughters Kaitlin Jane Byerly, Leah Caroline Byerly, and Savanna Marie Lambert.. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund at Shades Crest Baptist Church, Hoover, Alabama 35226.
