James Watts, age 82 of Eutaw, AL left us to be with God on March 5, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Lawrence and Lollus Gertle Watts of Gadsden, AL; brother, Rev. Edward Watts (Sybil) of Odem, GA; sisters, Jean Watts Felton of Gadsden, AL and Opal Watts York (James Arthur) of Eutaw, AL and a grandson David S. Watts, Jr.

Mr. Watts is survived by his daughter, Kathy Hamilton (Sammy) of McCalla, AL; sons, David Watts of Eutaw, AL and Larry Watts (Jo) of Centerpoint; grandchildren, Donald S. Hamilton and Samuel W. Hamilton; great grandchildren, Teal S. Hamilton, Samantha J. Hamilton and Robert J. Hamilton; sisters, Ruby Watts Farmer (Jimmy) of Eutaw, AL. Mildred Watts Garmany (Al) of Greer, SC, Lucy Watts Fuller (Delin) of Aliceville, AL;
A host of nieces and nephews.

A joint service for Mr. Watts and his wife, Carolyn who joined him in heaven three days after his death, will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at Valhalla Chapel with the Rev. Roscoe Korningay officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors for Mr. Watts at Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
