Yarbrough, James E. , age 91, of Grey Hill, AL, went on to be with his Heavenly Father with his family by his side at UAB Medical West Hospital Sunday, November 9, 2008. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Woodstock, Alabama. He retired from U.S. Steel and J.C. Penney Co. and worked at E-Z Rent Party World until the present time. He was loved and admired by all who knew him. He was a man of wisdom and lived a life committed to his Heavenly Father, his wife and family. He touched everyone he knew with his love of life and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Lois H. Yarbrough; two sons, James M. (Gay) Yarbrough and John M. (Lynn) Yarbrough; two daughters, Linda G. (Bud) Hill and Donna L. (Tommy) Smith; one sister, Evelyn Wells of Trinity, TX; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.Visitation will be Tuesday, November 11, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home, Midfield with Rev. Ben Corley officiating.
