Brown, Jane Marie, age 60, of Birmingham, passed away on July 6, 2008. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was retired from Jefferson County Department of Health. Jane also volunteered and worked at Childrens Hospital for a number of years. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. with burial in Valhalla cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her mother Faye Bishop Bevis. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Leigh Brown and her father James U. Bevis Jr., numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. A thank you is sent to Amedisys and Mid South Home Health. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Childrens Hospital.
