Day, Jane M., age 83, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2008. Mrs. Day was a resident of Midfield, AL since 1947. Mrs. Day was preceded in death by her parents, Blanche and Donald Guy; her husband, T.C. Day; and her great grandson, John Michael. She is survived by her brother; Larry Guy (Marion); her children; Claudia Best (Verland), Larry Day (Sue), and Eleanor Cameron (John); grandchildren; Dana Cameron, Michael Best (Jaime), Lindsey Brown (Loren), and Mandy Wallace (Jeffrey); great grandchildren; Noah and Jasper Best, Jacob and Samantha Brown, Wesley and William Wallace. Mrs. Day worked at the Girl Scouts Cahaba Council and then at AT&T, from which she retired in 1990. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Highland Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation.
