Jean Parker Lane passed away  on Friday, December 18, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jean was born in Birmingham and raised in Green Acres area of Midfield. She was a graduate from Jones Valley High School in 1964. She worked BTNB and later at US Steel. She lived in Hueytown for many years.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lane, her parents, Sevie and Evelyn Roberts Parker.

She is survived by her brother, Randy Parker (Joan) of Leeds, and two nephews, Jeff Parker and Andrew Parker. She is also survived by her aunt, Gail Frazier, her cousin, Susan Knotts Duvall of Shreveport, LA, and several other cousins.

Jean was a member of Southcrest Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020, 2:00 PM at Valhalla Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be sent to Southcrest Baptist Church, 4317 S Shades Crest Road Bessemer, AL 35022.
