Jeanette Wilson Scott, age 79 of Oak Grove passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Self Health Care in Hueytown. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James A. Scott and John A. Formby, Sr.; her beloved Jack Russell "Skippy"; her parents, Miles Wilson and Pernie Ethel Cagle Wilson; a son, John Formby, Jr; a granddaughter, Clancy Formby.

Mrs. Scott was a native and life long resident of Alabama where she was known as "Floataround" as her handle on CB Radio.

She is survived by a daughter, Jalon Griffith (Danny); a son, James A. "Andy" Scott, II; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Formby; 5 grandchildren; Heath Blankenship, Danielle Turberville (Michael); Heather Hill, J. P. Formby, and Alyssa Scott; 5 great grandchildren; and many children and grandchildren by love.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Valhalla Cemetery. There will not be a visitation.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Humane Society or a favorite charity of your choice.
