Jeffrey "Grant" Jinks, age 45 of Midfield, Alabama passed away on October 15, 2015 at a local hospital.

He is preceded in death by William and Ruth McDonald and Houston and Edna Jinks, grandparents.

He is survived by son, Jeffrey (Kayla) Pate and grandson, Jase Pate, mother, Rebekah McDonald; father, Jerry Jinks; brothers, Gary, Jeremy, Casey, and Jacob.

Grant was employed by Shades Mountain Baptist Church. He was a member of Fairfield Highlands Baptist Church. He loved camping, Alabama Football, and playing with his grandson Jase.

Funeral services will be held on Monday October 19, 2015 at Valhalla Funeral Home at 11AM. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service at 10AM. Internment will follow at Valhalla Cemetery. Officiating Minister; Pastor- John Turner from Shades Mountain Baptist Church.
