Nicholson, Jerry "Nick", age 53, passed away on Saturday February 14, 2009. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and son and spent his life putting others before himself. He was a member of Pleasant Grove First Baptist Church. He loved to fish and watch auto racing as well as all other sports. He was a graduate of Jess Lanier High School and attended the University of Alabama and Auburn University. He was preceded in death by his father Warren Nicholson and his sister Linda Nicholson. He is survived by his wife of 16 years Cindy Nicholson; his children, Courtney and Clint Nicholson; mother, Gloria Nicholson and a number of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Mr. Mike Lankford and Bro. Wayne Daniels officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 5 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kirkland Clinic, Acton Road location or the Princeton Pulmonary Group.
