Russell, Jessie Lee, age 82, of Boerne, TX, passed away on Monday Feb. 11, 2008. Born in Dallas County Texas, she was the daughter of David Russell Hiser and Mabel Faye Burns Hiser. Having moved from Birmingham, AL, she had been a resident of Boerne for 15 years and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Donald Dean Russell and Wayne Allen Russell, grandson, Don Russell Jr., brothers, William Hiser and David Hiser and sisters, Thelma Howard and Norma Freeman. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Valhalla cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 15, 2008 from 10 until 11 a.m. Jessie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Willie L. Russell; daughter, Lee Ann Jackson and her husband Greg; Grandchildren, Allen Russell and his wife Becky, Melanie Simmons and her husband Peter, Hunter Jackson, Whit Russell, and Kelley Harless and her husband Keith; nine great grandchildren; nieces nephews and many friends.
