Jo Ann Huff Allinder, age 85, "loving wife, mother Grammy and Jo Jo," passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 in Alabaster, Al.
Jo Ann was born February 11, 1932 in Wilkes, Alabama and was a resident of Jefferson County most of her life. She lived in Alabaster, Alabama since 1988. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lannie and J. P. Huff, Jr., of husband of 62 years, A. Noel Allinder, her brother, Jerry Huff, and her beloved son, Michael Allinder. She formerly worked with First National Bank, now Regions Bank, for ten years. She owned and operated Tiny Treasures Day Care in Pelham where she retired. Jo Ann was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Helena.
She is survived by her daughters, Marsha Graham and Cindy Coe (Dean); her grandchildren, Emily Zickefoose (Nathaniel) and Phillip Coe; her great grandchildren, Ben and Natalie; her sister, Judy Teasley, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at Riverside Baptist Church, 1919 County Road 52, Helena, Alabama 35080 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Chris Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Cemetery in Midfield. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
