John Blakely Bainbridge, age 70 of Irondale passed away on October 17, 2017. The son of the late Donald and Dorothy Bainbridge will be remembered on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Valhalla Funeral Home.
John was a faithful member of the Church of the Highlands at Grants Mill Road. He served as the Managing Partner of Birmingham Auto Clean for 28 years where he truly enjoyed working. An avid family man, John enjoyed spending quality time with his family and looked forward to the family''s annual beach trip to Seagrove Beach in Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis D. Bainbridge.
John will be remembered by his wife of 47 years, Deborah "Debbie" B. Bainbridge of Irondale; children, Kimberly "Kim" (James) Bainbridge Harris of Kimberly, AL, Blake (Jenny) Bainbridge of Troutman, NC, and Alexandria "Ali" (Sam) Bainbridge Watts of West Point, MS; 8 grandchildren, 4 grandchildren by marriage and a host of other relatives and friends.
