John Augustine D'Alessandro
April 13, 1991 - September 17, 2013

John D"Alessandro, 22, of Vestavia Hills, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. He is survived by his loving family: mother, Marye Ann Z. D'Alessandro, father, Gerard D'Alessandro, Sr., brother, Gerry D'Alessandro Jr. (Megan), and sister, Virginia D'Alessandro. Grandparents who will miss him are Vincent and Virginia Zicarelli and Frank and Prue D'Alessandro, as well as many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, and compassionate friends.

John was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a graduate of Vestavia Hills High School and a student at the University of Alabama. John enjoyed working at Silvertron Cafe, where he was very liked. He was a devout Catholic and will always be remembered for his kind heart and compassion. John truly loved his family and friends and will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church on Thursday, September 19, 2013, 10 AM until 11:00 A. M. followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 A. M. and entombment following the mass.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Lamar Project, 2700 Highway 280 South, Suite 240E, Birmingham, AL 35243, in honor of his dear classmate Lamar Herring.
