John Lay Earle, 86, long time resident of Pleasant Grove, AL, passed away with Family at his son's home Saturday Aug 28, 2021 . He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Sarah Earle.

Surviving are his children Roger Earle (Stephanie), Harold Hambley, and Debby Jackson (Johnny).

John Earle was retired from USPS with 33 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War from 1952 through 1956.

John enjoyed Alabama football, fishing, camping, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed songwriting and collecting country music.
